    Meeting of the estates general
    The estates were organized into three groups which were the clergy, nobility, and the the lowest class which is the bourgoisie. This meeting was held to try to find a solution to the financial problem in France. The third estate complained of their representation when deciding solutions and soon formed their own National Assembly.

    The National Assembly turned into the National Constituent Assembly after Louis XIV could not get them to stop meeting because they made an oath not to until they drafted a new constitution.

    Although there were only seven prisoners when the Bastille was stormed it was still an important part in the French Revolution. It was important because the people has taken the symbol of the french monarchy.
  • Womans March on Versailles

    Womans March on Versailles
    The women of the Revolution wer upset because they had no food, specifically no bread. They broke into the armory and stole weapons. The women then marched to the palace of Verailles from paris in demand of bread. They also demanded that the royal family leave their lavish palace and return to Paris with them to properly rule.

    Execution of Louis XVI
    After alot of deliberation and by only one vote, King Louis XVI was sentenced to death. Everyone was told to stay inside on the day of his execution and they slowly brought him in a royal carriage to the square with the guillotine where he would be killed. He did not want to be bound with the hands because he was still royalty and people say he did not seem scared in the moments leading to his death.
