The peasents heard rumors that the king was going to send the army, to kill peasants and burn there crops. They stormed the Bastille to make a statement, and stop them. -

This was very important to the French, because they wanted to be treated equally, and fairly. -

The gullotine is a big wooden structure with a blade attached. It was used to make executions. It was a new invention. -

Robespierre wanted equality for everyone in France, he executed the King. He was a lawyer. -
