•Setup classroom rules with students such as come to school on time, listen to the teacher, be kinds and respect others, follow all school rules, raise their hand for permission to speak, keep hands and feet to themselves
•Teach classroom routines
•Teach how to ending the day -
Tuesday
•In the morning, greet students at the door with a beautiful smile.
•Remind routines: where to put lunchbox, jacket, agenda etc.
•Morning meeting: setup the tune for the day with a funny story
•Remind classroom rules
•Tech students how to exit the classroom
•Send home welcome letter and explain the expectations.(For example, I hope that students will come to school on time, be kinds and respect others, and follow all the school rules.
•Remind again how to end the day such as wait to dismissed -
Wednesday
•In the morning, greet students at the door with a beautiful smile.
•Morning meeting: discuss with students and answer their question.
•Teach students how to label notebooks and papers
•Review classroom rules & classroom routines – have students acts out each rule and routine -
Thursday
•In the morning, greet students at the door with a beautiful smile.
•Teach about emergency drills and procedures
•Ask students to write goals for good behavior
•Call students by name -
Friday
•In the morning, greet students at the door with a beautiful smile.
•Teach about the homework policies, helping other students, & what to do during free time
•Teach how to listen and greet a person who visit in the classroom
•Review all the rules
