Once Octavian is given the place of Julius Ceaser, Rome once again had a leader. This was also a key event in the rise of the Roman Empire. -
Gaul Sacks Rome
Gaul invades Rome and battles with them. They won the battle and greatly weakened the already weak Roman Republic.
