    John Deere saw that the current cast iron and wooden plow were in effective and hurting the Agriculture industry. The soil of the Mid-West was so rich that normal plows could'nt manage it properly. John Deere made one from an old saw blade that he tested until he thought it was perfect. John Deere then patend the plow and be gan expanding.

    After the first plows were sold, word got around about Deere's new invention and so did word about his earnings. He simply could not keep up with requests so he started Deere and Co. and by the end of 1841 they were making 1000 plows a year.
