Vaughn Velocity V2
These pads have knee lock advancements, which made goalies use the butterfly in their game play. -
Vaughn Velocity V3
Vaughn started constructing pads aimed toward the butterfly for different styles of play like Reaction/Hybrid pads tend to be more flexible and have more breaks, which is great for goalies with a narrow butterfly. Blocking/Butterfly pads tends to be more rigid, and have fewer breaks, which is better for goalies with a wider butterfly. -
Vaughn Velocity V4
The Vaughn Velocity V4 have developed a flex pac design that allows you to be able to loosen them to your desire. Also, it has a wide cradle for rotatable pads in butterfly position, and a lot of padding inside for extra comfort. These are also my current pads. Vaughn Velocity V5
Wider leg cradle with increased protection on the outer leg padding. Improved scoop angle allows pad to sit taller on leg and provide more ice clearance. Firm perimeter edge on inside and outside of the pad for a stronger blocking surface -
Vaughn Velocity V6
Large leg cradle with sling support system for even weight distribution. Firm inner pad edge for improved five-hole coverage and seal to the ice. Over-squared top thigh rise
Plus 2 inch thigh rise standard. -
Vaughn Velocity V7
Carbon Fiber "Pro-Core" internal core design for better rebound control. Over-Squared inner thigh rise for complete pad seal. Thin profile side panels. New V7 graphics with split front face for more custom color options.
