PlayStation 2 (PS2)
The PlayStation 2, like the PS1 was first released in Japan on the 4th of March 2000 and was the most successful console selling over 155 million units. -
PlayStation Portable (PSP)
The PSP was first released in Japan on the 12th of December, 2004, and was the first ever hand held versions of PlayStation. -
PlayStation 3 (PS3)
The PlayStation 3 was first released in Japan on the 11th of November 2006 and was the first Sony PlayStation to play Blu-Ray games and movies. -
PlayStation Portable Go (PSP Go)
The PSP Go was first released on the 1st of October 2009 in European and American territories. The PSP Go is much lighter and thinner than the previous model of PSP. -
PlayStation Vita
The PS Vita was first released in Japan and parts of Asia on the 17th of December 2011. it is the first Sony hand-held console to have both a normal and slim version. -
PlayStation 4 (PS4)
The PS4 is the only Sony console so far to be released in North America first. The release date is 15th of November 2013.
