This is the time that the printing press came out. at this time people started to print out the english language on paper. -
King James
During this time, King James had a bible that was published. this has influenced the way we write in books or in anything. this is the more modern way of writing. -
Old English from the saints
St. Augustine influenced the english lanuage because he converted to christanity which introduced new words. -
The Vikings
At this time, The vikings ruled over most of eastern England. So this caused the people of england to start speaking there language. which was where some of the English words in out language come from. -
Engle/english
Germany came up with the name Engle. this was what they called the places of the origin of england. so they called it engle, but later on this place became england. this was the beginning of old english
