Bombing raid Berlin
It’s the first major daylight bombing raid on Berlin by the Allies. The British and Americans team up to combine their forces against the Germans; the British attacks at night and the Americans attacks by daylight. When the Allies bomb Berlin with two thousands tons of explosives, heavy losses are sustained on both sides. Despite the losses, the Allies are able to recover their forces while the Germans are not. -

Soviet planes do an air raid attack over the city of Tallinn, Estonia's capital. The military objects are almost untouched, however, lots of civilians are found without a shelter or even dead. Estonians fought on both side during war, wich made Tallinn a target for the German and the Soviet Union. -

Operation Margarethe was the occupation of Hungary by German forces. Feeling betrayed by the Hungarians, Hitler orded German troops to put Operation Margarethe in action to capture critical Hungarian facilities. -
