Burnham's Arrest
Burnham arrested for negligence which lead to the fire of the Cold Storage Buidling at the fair. He was charged on July 18th -
H.M.S Victoria ( ship ) sinks.
H.M.S Victoria is hit by H.M.S Camperdown. The ship sinks before all crew members can make it out. -

July 4th is celebrated, as a holiday, with fireworks. -
Chicago Day
Chicago Day was an attempt to raise the population at the fair. A great amount of people were in and out of the fair all day and night on October 9th. -
The Events of the Fair burns to Its Ashes.
Arsonists set fire to the seven greatest palaces of the exposition as result of strikes of the unhappy laborers whose wages or even jobs were being cut.
