Attila ruled the Hunnic empire from 434-453 when he died. The hunnic empire was strong in war and won almost very battle including the one against Rome and other parts of Italy. Attila only ever lost one battle which was with Catalaunian battle in 451. -

The Fall Of Rome
Rome fell because there were so many barbarians and vandals attacking and taking all the riches and food. The economy also sent Rome spiraling because of poor management and hoarding. Rome got divided because of religion and other causes. The reason the fall of Rome encouraged the dark ages was because after it fell there was total chaos for the lands riches and other supplies. There was no leader to give control. -

Charlemange was the KIng of the Franks and later became the emperor of the Romans in 800. He was a very strong believer of Christianity. He discouraged the dark ages. -
