    Crusaders broke into city of Antioch. They discovered what was to be part of the Holy Lance, so they took the whole entire city.

    Siege of Edessa

    The State of Edessa fell to Zengi. It marked the beginning of royal involvement.

    Crusaders Enter Into Damascus

    Anglo-Norman, Flemish, and Rhineland crusaders broke into Damascus. The crusade lasted four days, but they eventually had to retreat.
