    1096 - 1099. The first crusade was called 'The people's crusade'. They wanted to freed the Holy Land. It was led by Raymond IV of Toulouse and proclaimed by many wandering preachers.
  • The second crusade.

    The second crusade.

    1147 - 1149. The second crusade was led by the Holy Roman Emperor Conrad lll and by the king Louis Vll of France. They were prepared to atack Damascus.
  • The third crusade.
    Jan 1, 1189

    The third crusade.

    1189 - 1192. The third crusade was led by Richard the Lionheart, Philip II of France, and Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I. Richard I made a pact with Saladin, who was a great Muslim leader.
  • The fourth crusade.
    Jan 1, 1202

    The fourth crusade.

    The fourth crusade was leaded by Fulk of Neuil French/Flemish advanced on Constantinople.
