World War ll was the largest armed conflict in history. WWll started September 1st 1939, Germany invaded and made an attack on Poland but, the U.S. did not enter the war until after the Japanese bombed the Pearl Harbor. Britain and France then, declared war on Germany two days after the attack on Poland. The Pearl Harbor bombing happened on December 7, 1941. World War ll created a brand new international system of norms or ideals, security and prosperity for all nations.
