Berlin Airlift
Because Russians kept Berlin all to themselves by closing all railways and highways, there was no way to get goods into Berlin. So aircraft Carried over 2.3 tons of cargo into West Berlin for over a year.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Communist expansion worried 12 western states to form NATO. Created the outline of the standoff of the Cold War. Belgium, Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and the United States were all of the countries who were there to create this treaty.

Warsaw Pact
A treaty between Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union. A treaty created incase any one of its aplicants become a victim in the war.

13 day standoff debating the Soviet missiles on Cuba. At this time Kenedy being the President of the United States used US military to create a blockade around Cuba. Because the threat against national security the US wanted to make sure that it was clear this wasn't okay.

The Fall of the Soviet Union
