Montresor's Palazzo
It was very ironic that Montrresor's home was above the catacombs, which happened to be a perfect place to kill someone, and get away with it. -

Mason?
Fortunato preformed a gesticulation that Montresor didn't understand so Fortunato repeated the movement.
"You don't comprehend?" Fortunato said.
"Not I," Montresor replied.
"Then you are not of the brotherhood."
"How?"
"You are not of the Masons."
"Yes, yes" Montresor replied, "yes,yes"
"You? Impossible! A Mason?"
So Fortunato asked for a sign and Montresor answered by producing a trowel from beneath the folds of his roquelaure.
