  • The Treaty Paris

    Search people are allowed on North American land and Canada close to Great Britain.
  • The Sugar Act

    The British put a tax on sugar and other items that come from non-British colonies.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act was King George III’s way of forcing Americans to obey his will. Which led to a lot more acts known as the intolerable acts. The Boston Port Act, the Administration of Justice Act, The Massachusetts Government Act, The Quartering act, The Quebec Act.
  • Declaration of Independence

    Thomas Jefferson drafted the declaration of independence. It basically Told Great Britain to, “go on somewhere.” Although, women’s and slaves rights are not mentioned in this document. The document explained that the government was meant to protect and serve the people, and when it didn’t, it could be overthrown.
  • The Battle of Saratoga

    The American colonies defeated Burgoyne’s British troops. So Spain, France, and The Netherlands jumped in to help the Americans win.
  • The Battle of Yorktown

    The French help the Americans to chat General Cornwallis’s army.
  • The Treaty of Paris

    This treaty ended the American revolution. Benjamin Franklin looked over all as they now only freed themselves but gained land as well.
  • The Constitution of the United States

    America established the national government that guarantees certain basic rights for it’s citizens.
