  • The first library

    The first library was founded in Philadelphia by Benjamin Franklin. The American Dream consist of having a good education and going to a good collage

  • The Molasses Act

    This act was passed by the English Parliament.They shipped molasses, rum and sugar from non-British islands in the Caribbean to protect the English planters there from French and Dutch competition.America is about being safe and being able to trade and protect them self.

  • Boston Tea Party

    December 16, 1773, after officials in Boston didn't return three ship loads of taxed tea to Britain, a group of colonists went on to the ship and destroyed the tea by throwing it into Boston Harbor. This was a act that showed that American's always fight for what they think is right. The american Dream is about having a say with what goes on in there life.

    on July 4, 1776 the thirteen american colonies were now independent states and not a part of the British Empire anymore. The American dream is about being your own induvial person. Its also about having as much freedom as possible. We fought the war against the British Empire to gain our independence.

    The Manifest Destiny was the spread of America into the West from the East. The American dream is full of people making a change. By expanding into new land, it's almost like a freash start. Many Americans have to start from nothing and make a good life for them and thier family,

    Thomas Edison made many inventions that have changed the way Americans live their life all over the world.Some of the inventions that he has made including, the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long-lasting practical electric light bulb. Americans even today are always making new inventions to better their everyday life. The American Dream is about being succesful and working hard to make a good living, By making new inventions they can earn alot of new money.
