Thirty Year’s War
The Thirty Years War was an event that took place from 1618-1648. During the War a number of battles occurred and the start of the war was most commonly credited to the tension between the catholic and the protestant states. During the war over 8 million casualties occurred and german agriculture greatly suffered. Not only did the land and people suffer but so did the Holy Roman Empire. The effects of the Thirty Years War included great events like the independence of the Netherlands. -
English Bill of Rights
The English Bill of Rights was formed to basically limit the power of the monarchy. Included inside it were certain things mainly focused on the freedom of the people. Two of the things inside the bill were freedom of speech and freedom to bear arms for self defense. Due to this bill being put in place certain things changed through-out the monarchy. It "guaranteed" that the people had independent rights and the power to do things without the permission of the current king and/or queen. -

When Emporer Charles VI had passed away it greatly contributed to the start of the War of the Austrian Succession. During the war a variety of events happened including -
American Revolution
A very large event that led to the start of the American Revolution was Britain and their acts towards the people. When Britain decided to start heavily taxing people it greatly upset its citizens. Due to the colonists being upset they were being taxed for things that didn't necessarily apply to them as "Americans". Its feelings like these that eventually led to protests like the Boston tea party. the American revolution led to more independence and freedom for colonists. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was an event that occurred in Great Britain which led to the taxation of certain documents including things like marriage certificates and all legal documents. The reason for this was to help with loss of revenue to the seven years war with france. However, although this benefitted Great Britain this angered the colonists. The Stamp Act led to certain members of society boycotting British goods and it also contributed to the American Revolution. -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris was a very important event in history that ended the American revolution. the treaty of Paris was a treaty signed by a few different people, however the most well known are John Adams and Benjamin Franklin. The Treaty of Paris had negotiations including the resolvent of issues with Americans owing debt to the brits. These negotiations benefitted people because it obviously aided with money issues. The Treaty of Paris resulted in peace between many people and benefitted many -

The French Revolution has a variety of different causes for it. one of the large causes, which was a common factor through-ought Europe and Britain was the discontent of its citizens. Things like tax "reforms" and economic difficulties led to even more discontent among the people and things like food shortages as well as issues with eating. however, the french revolution ended with some positive achievements. not only did it help with the french monarchy but it also put an end to feudalism. -
Tennis Court Oath
The Tennis Court Oath was a sort of "rebellion" by those of the lower classes and the less fortunate. Members of a group known as "the third estate" came to a realization that they wouldn't be able to remain due to the higher ups disregard and dislike for them. They then decided to move to an indoor tennis court was unable to meet in their usual place. They then took an oath that swore to never separate until a constitution for france had been written. -
Storming of the Bastile
The cause of the Storming of Bastille is actually quite simple. In 1789 a Paris mob had decided to storm a state prison in hopes of retrieving weapons along with ammunition. They had done this with the intention of-simply only becoming armed however, this was not the case. Once they had stormed bastille they had to face the governor. He however refused to give up and was eventually killed and beheaded. This event was seen as a part of the monarchy being overthrown and is still celebrated. -
Reign of Terror
The Reign of terror took place during the french revolution/revolutionary war. the reason the Reign of Terror is so significant is because of the amount of lives lost and lives damaged. thousands of people died as a result and its still talked about to this day. during the reign of terror different events occurred that led to the death of people including the 17,000 official executions. The Reign of Terror led to an economic decline and political un-stability.
