Napoleon named himself Consul for Life after Julius Caesar, he was already in charge of France but he was shown even more powerful -
Napoleonic Code (Green)
A Civil Code established by Napoleon, it abolished Feudalism in France. It held equality before the law, some of it’s traits are still used today in Europe. -
Declared Self Emperor (Green)
Napoleon wanted a grand title, one greater than king, he chose to declare himself the Emperor of France. He invited to Pope to crown him, but he took the crown from the Pope’s hands and crowed himself to prove he was more powerful than the church. -
Battle Of Trafalgar (Red)
A battle between the French and the Spanish against England. England come out on top and defeated the French and the Spanish. It was during this battle that Admiral Nelson was killed, nonetheless British power over the sea was shown to be better. -
Abolished Holy Roman Empire (Green)
After the Battle oF Austerlitz, Napoleon declared The Holy Roman Empire no longer existed and was now a part of France when he defeated Austria and Russia. -
Continental System (Red)
Napoleon tried to weaken Britain trade by declaring their ships are no longer allowed in European ports, this backfired as many countries depended on overseas trade. -
Resistance Of Spain (Yellow)
Napoleon wanted to invade Portugal and asked for Spanish aid to do that, when they denied France invaded. There was a revolt against the French, but France eventually won and placed his brother Joseph Napoleon as the King Of Spain. -
Invasion of Russia (Red)
A military fiasco, Napoleon lost 590,000 men, he came home with 10,000 men. He was forced to retreat and Napoleon was completely shamed. -
Battle of Nations at Leipzig
A decisive battle, Napoleon lost against the Coalition and was forced to be exiled to Elba. -

A hundred days that Napoleon was back in France and in command before he lost his power again in the Battle of Waterloo. -
Waterloo (Red)
A battle, France against England and Prussia. Napoleon lost ending the Napoleonic Era. Napoleon Bonaparte was then exiled to the island of St. Helena where he lived the rest of his life. -
Abdication (Red)
After losing the battle of Leipzig, he renounced from the throne and was exiled to Elba.
