Napoleon had been defeated and was forced to withdraw his army. The military campaign was a failure, and the French fleet was destroyed by Lord Nelson. -
Banque de France (green)
Napoleon created the Banque de France to help economic recovery after a strong recession of the revolutionary period. This helped him and France tremendously. -
Concordat of 1801 (yellow)
Ended the breach caused by the church reforms enacted during the French Revolution. The Concordat of 1801 was largely in favor of the state. Also the church lands lost during the revolution would not be returned.
