    Prior to the invention of Email, messages could only be sent from one computer to another if they were on the same mainframe. This prompted Ray Tomlinson to distinguish individual users from their computers with the @ symbol, allowing individuals to send messages beyond their mainframe.
  • Cell Phone "The Brick"

    Cell Phone "The Brick"
    in 1973, Martin Cooper, working with Motorola, made the first phone call on a cordless device. The device weighted 2.5lbs and was the size of a brick. Aptly, the device became commonly known as "the brick." thanks to this device people were now able to transport their telecommunication devices semi-conveniently and make phone calls on the go.
  • Cromemco Digital Camera

    Cromemco Digital Camera
    Created by Terry Walker, Harry Garland, and Roger Melen, the Cromemco Digital Camera allowed photographers to take an image and just 23 seconds later see the image on a separate screen for analyzation. If the photo was unsuitable, the photographer could now, for the first time, delete the photo from memory on the camera.

    Created by Steve Wozniak, and marketed by Steve Jobs, The Apple-1 was Apples 1st computer. The Apple-1 was the first computer of its kind to contain an all-in-one microcomputer that could easily display text once connected to a keyboard and monitor.

    Invented by a team of engineers from Sony, the Walkman was the worlds 1st portable personal music player. Unlike a radio, you could pop in a cassette of your choice and listen to YOUR Music. Putting in some headphones and jamming out to your own music while on the go started with the Sony Walkman.
