Sharif Hussein, the governer of Mekkah, communicates with British High Commissoner in Egypt, Henry McMahon. In the letters the two men come to an agreement - if the Arabs start help a revolt, the British in return will give the Arabs land. -
Egypt gains independence from Britain

War between Egypt and Britain, France, and Israel
The Egyptians have recently nationalized the Suez Canal. Israel fakes an attack on the Egyptians, who will not give up easily. The British and French attack, but the Egyptians still will not give up despite all the people they lose while fighting. When Egypt asks the UN to leave the Suez area, Israel sees this as a preparation for an attack. Israel attacks and destroys the air forces of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq. The PLO in Jordan began to try to take over. King Hussein stops them, but many Palestinians, as well as Jordanians, are killed in the process of regaining control over Jordan. -
October War
Egypt's army crosses the supposedly 'inpenetrable' Bar Lev Line on the Suez Canal. This takes the Israeli army by surprise at first, as it was the first day of both Yom Kippur and Eid. A series of events, such as an attack on a bus full of Palestinians by a group of Maronites and the huge numbers of Palestinians who flooded into Lebanon, caused tensions that led to the Lebanese Civil War that lasted from 1975 - 1990. -
First Gulf War
After unsuccessful negotiaions between Iraq and Kuwait, Iraq attacks and occupies Kuwait for stealing Iraq's oil. 53 countries and half a million soldiers prepare to stop Iraq from expanding. The UN gives Iraq a timeframe to get out of Kuwait, and everyone attacks Iraq after they do not withdraw. After attacking from the air for 40 days, everyone begins the ground war, which lasts for about a week and Iraq withrdaws. Before leaving Kuwait, Iraq sets all of Kuwaits oil fields on fire.
