    Peter Goldman and Cbs developed the colored tv together int the early 40s. This was the spark that led to amazing 4k tvs we have today. The colored tv allowed viewers to see in a way they never had before and brought their shows and movies to life

    Konrad Zuse invented the first fully digital and programable computer. This was made as part of a government project. The technology in this computer paved the way for others to develop the comouters we use today.
  • Jukebox

    the modern jukebox we are all familiar with came to light in the 40s. More than 2/3 of the records being produced in the 40s were to go into jukeboxes. Often they were found in diners, dance hall, or other establishments they allowed users to pay to pick the next song that played
  • Kidney Dialysis

    During World War II Willem Johan Pim Kolff created the first dialysis machine. This is used to clean the blood of one whose kidneys can't do it on their own. This invetions has saved countless lives since it was invented.
  • The Microwave

    Percy Spence invetend the microwave in 1947. Using radr technology he was able reheat food. It took until the 60s for this to become a household appliance and has morphed into one of the main ways some people prepare food
