The Mexicans had wanted to take a cannon from the texans but the texans didnt like that. So the Texans buried the cannon intill the mexicans forgot about it. Later the mexicans and texans went to war so the texans unburied the cannon and shot it at them at the beging of the war and said come and take it. -

Declararion of 1835
Consultation announced that the Texan war against Mexico principally intended to restore the Mexican Constitution of 1824, abrogated by the actions of President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, and to achieve separate Mexican statehood for Texas. The members of the Consultation had hoped to attract popular support for the Texan cause from the other Mexican states. -

Surrender of Mexican Forces in San Antonio
Sam houston led a war against General Antonio López de Santa Anna's Mexican forces. This fight just lasted eighteen menutes. The texans had killed over seven hundred soldiers and about seven hundred captured. This left the Mexicans very confused which then led to them surrendering. -

The Runaway Scrape is the period in early 1836 generally beginning with the Siege and Fall of the Alamo and ending with the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21. It was a period of terror and panic among the settlements of Texas. the war spread over san jasinto destroying everything. people were packing up there bags trying to get out of there untill the war was over. -
Battle of Refugio/Coleto (Goliad massacre)
Fannin sent Amos King on a mission to Refugio on 11 March, unknowingly straight into the path of Urrea's army. On the 13th, King sent out a plea for help to Fannin, who sent William Ward to reinforce him. They linked up and fortified a mission. Urrea, meanwhile, heard of their presence and marched a flying column of 300 Mexican troops to Refugio, hoping to overtake the Texans. On 14 March the two sides clashed and fought until dark.The Texans attempted to escape back to Goliad, but were capture. -
