    On June 13, 1832, a group of Anglo-American settlers adopted a resolution called the Turtle Bayou Resolution. This stated that they were loyal to Mexico and were not rebelling. They declared that they were supporting Santa Anna who was a very popular leader.

    1828 Mier y Teran is sent on a fact-finding mission to Texas by the Mexican government. Because of U.S. interest in Texas and the large number of Anglo settlers flowing into Mexico, the government is anxious to assess the situation because he would lose the territory to United States.

    The Law of April 6, 1830, was to stop the flood of immigration,no more grants for america,no new slaves brought to Texas,and that land grants would be given out to Mexican and Europeans. The law was a result of the Mier y Teran Report's fourteen recommendations about stopping the colonization of Texas by Mexicans and Europeans.

    The Battle of Gonzales was the first military engagement of Texas Revolution. It was fought near Gonzales, Texas, on October 2, 1835, between rebellious Texian settlers and a detachment of Mexican army soldiers.The Texians won.

    Capture of San Antonio

    Benjamin Rush Milan inspired the new Texan Army with 300 men and it took possession at the city of San Antonio.When he found Santa Anna overthrown Mexican Republic and established himself as a dictator he joined the rag team army of republic of Texas.He joined the army to attack San Antonio.Texas did a sneak attack at 3 am on December the 5th and on December the 9th forces of the Mexican army were badly beaten Texas had won the attack.

    On February 23, Mexican troops under General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna went to San Antonio de Bexar. Texans defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836. The battle of the Alamo fought because they had issues like Federalism, slavery, immigration rights, the cotton industry .

    March 2nd,1836 the deceleration was produced overnight.It was being prepared in San Antonio and it was under siege by Santa Anna army of mexico.. It was adopted at the Convention of 1836 at Washington-on-the-Brazos on March 2, 1836, and it was signed the next day after mistakes were noted in the text. During the convention of 1836 they decided to get independence from Mexico and we also copied the United states deceleration.

    The Goliad massacre was an event of the Texas Revolution that happened on March 27, 1836.About 430 prisoners of war from the Texian Army of the Republic of Texas were killed by the Mexican Army in the town of Goliad, Texas. Fannin was killed so was commander Colonel. Final battle at Coleto ends in Texas surrender.
