    Fredonian Rebellion
    Haden Edwards after being enraged of how Mexican government went on Stephen F. Austin's side, and they took his empersario grant. He teamed up with Karankawas and attempted to be independent from Mexico. Ends January 23, 1827
  • Conflict at Anahuac

    Conflict at Anahuac
    (Ignore the day I only knew the year and month) Mier y Teran was sent by Mexico to spy on the Anglo Americans in Anahuac from what Mier y Teran saw he saw that they weren't loyal to Mexico. He spends a whole year there until telling Mexico about it.
  • Law of April 6, 1830

    Law of April 6, 1830
    After Mier y Teran reported the actions the Anglo Americans did the Law of April 6,1830 was caused. It made US not allowed to immigrate in Texas. No more slaves were allowed so less people would go there just for slaves. They also placed custom duties to make it less appealing to others.
  • Turtle Bayou Resolutions

    Turtle Bayou Resolutions
    The residents of Turtle Bayou sent John Austin to get a cannon. While waiting for him to return they wrote about how they were loyal to Mexico and won't cause any trouble. It was called the Turtle Bayou Resolutions.
  • Battle of Gonzales

    Battle of Gonzales
    Santa Anna sends General Cos to take a cannon from Gonzales that was a gift from Mexico. The Texans weren't going to just give it up since they needed it to scare Native Americans away. So they bury it in a orchard. The Texans shot and they dug up the cannon and put a flag saying "Come and Take It" . When Texans shot at the Mexican Soldiers General Cos was confused and made a parley but it didn't go well. Starting the Texas Revolution! It was a Texas Victory!
  • Battle of Goliad

    Battle of Goliad
    (Lasted one day) After pumped up from the last battle in Gonzales they went to attack the soldiers in Goliad. The Texans took the supplies,food,money, and everything they could find. It was a Texas Victory and it won't go unnoticed!
  • Battle of San Antonio

    Battle of San Antonio
    (Continued all the way to December 11 1835) Most of the Texans did not want to attack San Antonio, but Ben Milam wanted to attack San Antonio. No one else agreed to go with him so Ben Milam went to get people. Ben Milam's army consisted of volunteer soldiers. So they sieged with 400 of Burleson's men that are scouting. They cut off any escape and food. The Mexicans couldn't do a single thing after they ran out of food so they surrendered. Since General Cos lost Santa Anna wanted to fight.
  • Members of the consultation meet

    Members of the consultation meet
    The members were there to talk about being independent from Mexico. So they formed a Provisional Government. The War Party wanted complete independence from Mexico. While the Peace Party wanted to team up with Mexican Federalists to take out Santa Anna while staying in Mexico. The War Party won in the end. They scheduled to meet again in March 1st of 1836.
  • Grass Fight

    Erastus "Deaf" Smith found horses heading to San Antonio so he reported it to the army. Part of the army mistaked it for gold so they were willing to fight. It was apparently just grass for horses. So it's still a Texas Victory but a small one. (Between Siege of San Antonio)
  • Battle of Alamo Begins

    Battle of Alamo Begins
    Mexico did what the Texans did and did a 13 day siege surrounding the Alamo while playing Deguello a slit throat song for 13 days that means that a lot of people were going to die soon. Once the song ended 1800 Mexican soldiers stormed The Texans in The Alamo were at a disadvantage since they didn't have enough numbers.
  • Texas Declaration of Independence is signed

    Texas Declaration of Independence is signed
    The day before the Convention of 1836 has come and they needed to make a decision. Since The War Party won they made a Declaration of Independence to show that they were going to be independent from Mexico. March 2nd was when it was approved and they were no longer connected to Mexico and became their own country. It didn't go well at all.
  • Fall of the Alamo

    Fall of the Alamo
    Every Texan was slaughtered and 600 Mexican soldiers were found dead. It was a Mexican Victory. Suzanne Dickinson a Alamo survivor was spared by Santa Anna and was commanded to tell Sam Houston about how everyone died. She encouraged them to fight defying Santa Anna!
  • Battle of Coleto Creek

    Battle of Coleto Creek
    (This battle lasted to March 20) After Sam Houston learned about the defeat of The Battle of the Alamo he commanded Colonel James Walker Fannin to head to Victoria with his army. General Urrea surrounded a group of Texans trying to escape from Coleto Creek. Fannin wasn't going to let this go by so he attacked him! After being outnumbered by Mexicans Fannin surrendered. They were kept as prisoners of war.
  • Goliad Massacre

    Goliad Massacre
    The prisoners from the Battle of Coleto Creek were going to be killed in Goliad hence the name Goliad Massacre. It included Colonel James Fannin the commander of the army who fought. They were killed on orders by Santa Anna. The one who actually killed them was Lt. Colonel José Nicolás de la Portilla.
  • Texas wins revolution at The Battle of San Jacinto

    Texas wins revolution at The Battle of San Jacinto
    The Mexicans thought they were off the hook so they slept. Sam Houston took them by surprise and killed every soldier while they were sleeping. Santa Anna being scared of being executed wrote a treaty to ensure that Mexico will never cross paths with Texas again.
