The Gonzales colonist set up a little cannon that the mexican government had gave to thenm to protect themselves from the indian attacks.The colonist didn't have cannon balls so they put in scrap metal to shoot the mexican government fled and the Texian army won. -

There was a cannon and the Mexican government wanted to take away the cannon .The cannon was given so they could have protected themselves from the indian attacks .The town of gonsalez won that battle . -

Benjamin R. milam became a soldier in 1824 and a citizen .When her heard about santa anna capturing san antonio so he took 300 men.He got there on December 5th at 3am .The battle stoped on December 9th but sadly milam was shot on december 7th. -

Seige of the Alamo
Colonel B. Travis was in charge of the battle of the Alamo for Texas .The Texian army had less troops than the Mexican army .The seige lasted 13 days and Juan Seguin was a scout who was meant to bring more troops but never returned. After the Alamo there was more people wanting to fight and gain independence and there was a famous battle cry "remember the alamo". -

Sam Houston was in charge of this texian army and they are ordered to go to the guadalupe river.Sam Houston didn't want to leave and they were late on retreat and he also took 200 extra rifles and 9 cannons so it slowed them down even further.When they got to coleto creak they were late because the mexican army was hot on their tails.So Houston ordered to stand down and fight.When the mexican army captured them he Urea killed them and Houston asked to send his watch to family a christian burial. -

In this battle the mexican river camped out where there was river arounf them and there was a 2 bridge's.while the mexican were asleep the texian army destroyed one bridge so there was no escape.So then they attacked and the mexicans surrendered and santa anna hid with his soldiers in a unifor so he wouldnt die.Bu the texian army found him and he surrendered. -

Tis document was a letter that would say that texas is and independent state and that the mexican army was defeated.This document was signed by Houston and Santa Anna under a tree after the battle of san jacinto.
