Texas dared Mexico to try nd take back the cannon. They made a flag saying "Come and take it" and stuck it on the cannon to taunt the Mexicans. This was the start of the Texas Revolution. -

Colonel Fannin surrenered because all of his men were outnumbered by the Mexicans. -

All of Colonel Fannin's men were executed by General Urrea under direct orders from Santa Anna. -
Battle of San Jacinto
Last battle of the Texas Revolution. Texan armies ambushed the Mexicans and won. They also captured Santa Anna.
