Battle of Gonzales

Texas dared Mexico to try nd take back the cannon. They made a flag saying "Come and take it" and stuck it on the cannon to taunt the Mexicans. This was the start of the Texas Revolution.

Battle of the Alamo

Mar 6, 1836

All Texan soldiers died trying to protect the Alamo.

Battle of Coleto Creek

Mar 19, 1836

Colonel Fannin surrenered because all of his men were outnumbered by the Mexicans.

Goliad Massacre

Mar 27, 1836

All of Colonel Fannin's men were executed by General Urrea under direct orders from Santa Anna.

Battle of San Jacinto

Apr 21, 1836

Last battle of the Texas Revolution. Texan armies ambushed the Mexicans and won. They also captured Santa Anna.
