IBM ships its Model 701
The Model 701 also known as the Defense Calculator was used by research laboratories, aircraft companies, and the federal government. This was IBM's entry into the computer market. -

The PDP-1 sparked hacker culture who came to make the first computer game "SpaceWar!". -
CDC 6600 supercomputer introduced
This super computer was capable of performing up to 3 million instructions per second. It was so meta that it had 10 mini computers inside the computer so that it could run faster. -
