Apple Inc. releases the first iPhone
The first iPhone was released in 2007, soon followed by an upgraded version called the iPhone 3G in 2008. The 3GS followed in 2009. -

The iPhone 4 was a sleeker and more modern version of the previous phone. It was soon followed by the iPhone 4S in 2011. -
iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 was a major upgrade including new icons and a taller screen. It was followed by the 5C and 5S in 2013. -

The iPhone 6 included a wider display and a camera upgrade. It was followed by the iPhone 6 Plus in 2014 and the iPhone 6S in 2015. -
iPhone SE
The iPhone SE came as a surprise due to it looking like an iPhone 5 with internal upgrades. -
iPhone 7
The iPhone 7 was one of the best phones of the year and was a close rival with the Galaxy S7. It was followed by the iPhone 7 Plus. -
iPhone 8
The iPhone 8 was an upgrade with better glass durability and a better camera. It was closely followed by the iPhone 8 Plus. -
iPhone X
The iPhone X had a major physical upgrade with the entire front of the phone being the screen. It no longer had the home button customers were used to.
