French Chappe brothers invented the first optical telegraph. It was a system comprised of a series of lights mounted on tower to next. First Radio Communication
The idea of wireless communication predates the discovery of radio with experiments in wireless telegraphy via inductive and capacitive induction and transmission through the ground, water, and even tracks from 1830s. in 1888 Heirich Rudolf Hertz was able to conclusively prove transmitted airborne electromagnetic waves in experiment confirming Maxwell’s theory of electromagnetism.

World's First Live Television Broadcast
John Logie Baird invented the world’s first live television broadcast. It had a black and white image of a ventriloquist dummy’s face flickered on a screen in a workshop in London. The images were broadcasted via radio waves.

First Electronic General-purpose Computer
ENIAC (electronic numerical integrator and computer) was executed by two programmers named J.Presper Eckert and John Mauchly, on June 4,1923. The cost estimated for the project was around $487,000. The computer was designed to have an ability to solve a large class of numerical problems. It weighed more than 30 short tons. Unique- first electronic computer. Sputnik1 was the first artificial Earth satellite launched by Soviet Union into Earth orbit. It was a 58-cm diameter polished metal sphere with four external radio antennas to broadcast radio pulses.it transmitted 20,005 and 40.002 MHz monitored by radio for 21 days. World's First Commercial Handheld Cellular Phone
Motorola DynaTac 8000x was designed in 1983 by Motorola’s industrial team headed by manager Rudy Krolopp and was introduced to the public in 1984.It was the world’s smallest and lightest at 10.7 ounces weighing only 3.1 ounces.

First Wireless Network
WLAN IEEE802.11 allowed two megabytes per second of data transferred wirelessly between devices. It was invented by a committee called 802.11 by NCR corporation and AT&T corporation in 1991.Vic Hayes, the chairperson of IEEE 802.11 executed the project. It offers 23 overlapping channels rather than 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band.

First Wifi Staions with Hotspots
RailTel put the project of providing high-speed Wi-Fi services to the rural areas by creating Wi-Fi facility at selected rural railway stations close to the inhabited village across the county.
