Technology Use Progression

  • Pager

    Pagers were all the rage when I was in High School. I acquired my 1st pager in 1996.

  • Cell Phone

    I moved out in 2000 and acquired my 1st cell phone. That little Nokia phone was thick and heavy like a small brick

  • Desktop Computer

    I acquired my first desktop computer in 2004. My main goal was to start school but the computer was really just utilized for working at home.

  • Laptop Computer

    Eventually I felt the need to work places other than home and work. I began traveling but still needed to be connected. I upgraded from a desk top to a laptop in 2007.

  • Car

    in 2018 I bought a new car after 10 years. Newer cars have all this new technology that takes a while to get used to. Beeps and dings and screens flashing are not my thing. While I believe the new technology is meant for safety and ease, I feel it is distracting and am not a fan.
