Hotmail
I still, to this day, use hotmail ever since my mom and I created one! -
AOL INSTANT MESSENGER
This was the only way to communicate with my friends, besides talking on the phone, and I could talk to them for hours. I remember always typing "brb" if my mom made me leave the screen for a while. -
Google
Google has changed the way the internet is used. I do not remember a time that I did not have google and finding out that it was made after I was born is crazy! -
Apple Ipods
I, actually, remember the first time I heard of an Ipod from my best friend. She was telling me how amazing it was and that she wanted one so badly, but I did not really care for one at the time and thought it was stupid. Now, I know I was terribly wrong. -
Skype
Skype has been very resourceful for my life, especially when my siblings would go serve LDS missions. That is something that has become amazing with Skype, but back when it first came out I thought it was amazing that I could talk to someone through the computer. -
Wikipedia
Wikipedia was a very resourceful way for me to find information even though some of it is not very helpful. -
Facebook
Facebook was amazing and I completely begged my mom to let me get one in junior high. It was the first real way for someone my age to express themselves with not much parental involvement and could talk to friends in an interesting way. -
Youtube
I loved youtube when I was younger and it was a way that my friends and I would post videos. We thought we were famous when we saw a video of us on the computer. -
Twitter
Twitter was more of my junior high and high school experience. It was a way to find out what all my friends were doing in quick short words and a way to express myself. -
Pinterest
I love pinterest. When it first came out I did not really understand the concept and thought it was a waste of time, but as I have gotten older I have found many uses for their advice and images.
