Television
From the time I was really young I loved watching TV. When I was young Barney was my favorite show to watch. -
Telephone
I remember talking on the telephone with my dad while he was at work, and with grandma and grandpa. -
Pencil
I loved to try and write words with my pencil, even as young as when I was 2. I would see my mom do it, and try and copy what she wrote, but it took awhile before I actually began to write legible letters. -
Disposable Camera
My family travelled every summer, and each place we went my brother, sister and I would all get to take photos with disposable cameras. Later we would get the film developed, and have all the memories of half of peoples faces, or peoples feet. (I wasn't that great of a photographer!) -
Nintendo 64
My brother recieved a Nintendo 64 for his birthday in 1997. He taught me how to play it, and we would play Mario Party and Zelda (I would pretend to be the fairy) on it together. He later gave it to me, and I still enjoy playing the ocassional Dr. Mario game on it! -
GameBoy Color
I loved video games. I got my very own GameBoy Color in the year 2000, and loved to play Super Mario Bros and Pokemon Yellow on it. -
Radio/Tape Player
Every night while falling asleep I would listen to the Harry Potter books on tape. My mom had a rule that we couldn't see the Harry Potter movies unless we read the book first, and this was my way of doing that. I listened to the first through fourth book probably a dozen times in my life on tape. -
Computer
I loved playing games on the computer. My brother, sister and I would have to take turns every day to use the computer. My favorite games were Pajama Sam and Puttputt. -
Portable DVD Player
For my birthday when I turned 10, the only thing I wanted was a portable DVD player. When I got it, I took it everywhere with me, and especially loved it on airplane rides -
IPod Nano
My very first MP3 Player was the Ipod Nano, which I got from my brother. I loved listening to music, and would take it running with me for the next few years! -
Cell Phone
I was given my first cell phone when I turned 16. It was so exciting to be able to text my friends, and stay in touch with my parents when they left town! -
Laptop
I recieved a laptop from my dad as a graduation present from high school, right before I began college. It was a Mac, and it is the same one I use now.
