Gameboy
I got my first Gameboy Color, blue, and a Toy Story game for Christmas. -
Cassette/Record Player
My mother gave me her old cassette/record player. I remember playing Elvis Presley and Men At Work all the time. -
Floppydisk
The first memory I have of using a floppy disk was in 2nd or 3rd grade and we had to do a project at home and bring it in to school to share. -
DVD
I don't remember my parents converting or buying DVD's until I was at least 8 years old. I remember my dad complaining they would have to switch all of their VHS' to DVD's and that this was the government's way of making us buy more. -
CD Player
I got my first few CD's and CD player when I was 10; I think my mom regretted it later. -
Desktop Computer
I don't remember using my parents computer until I was almost 11, living in Hawaii. -
Dell Laptop
The picture attached is the exact laptop my dad had and the first one I remember specifically using. We still own this although it doesn't do much anymore. -
Smart Board
When I was in 8th grade my school had Smart Boards, which is the first and last time I ever saw them until I became a teacher's aide when I was 22. -
Nokia Cellphone
First cellphone I received was my Freshman year in high school. -
iPhone 5
March of 2013 was the day I finally upgraded to any sort of smart phone. Before that I was using normal flip phones...it's a big change.
