    Created by Dov Moran and Pua Khein-seng, the USB flash drive is a portable storage device capable of storing and transmitting data to multiple different computers with compatible USB ports, so long as the person using the computer had the physical drive with them on their person.

    Blu-Ray discs were a new type of storage for movies and television shows that could be played and replayed on a home device, that was supposed to be higher definition than normal CDs. Invented by Blu-Ray Disc Association.

    Nintendo Wii
    A personal home gaming device created by Nintendo Entertainment Systems in 2006, was able to read discs to play games, as well as using an online marketplace to provide a wider variety of games without requiring a physical disc.
