Desiging the Difference Machice
Charles Babbage was the inventor of the first "computer". Although Charles had neither the funds or support, he created a design for a machine that could calculate simple problems. He was not able to build his creation in real life, but the engine was built by the Lodon Science Museum in 1991. It worked. http://techland.time.com/2011/11/10/who-really-invented-the-computer/ http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/objects/computing_and_data_processing/1992-556.aspx http://www.computerhistory.org/ -

The History of the Computer
The word 'computer' in 1800s and before that was a name used for a person that solved computation problems. Today, the word 'computer' is an electronical machine that can process data, usually in binary form. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=what is a computer -
The Analytical Engine
Since Charles Babbage wasn't able to create his Difference Engine correctly, he tuned his attention to other devices. He invented the Analytical Engine, which was more ambitious than the Difference Machine. The Analytical Engine had many important principles found in modern computers. Charles also wasn't able to create his machine in real life. http://www.computerhistory.org/babbage/history/ www.sciencemuseum.org.uk -

ENIAC
The ENIAC was the first general purpose computer. It was one thousand times faster than electro-mechanical machines. It had a high failure rate, though, and it often burned out several octal-base radio tubes a day. The longest the machine went without failing waa about 5 days. It was invented by John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert. www.youtube.com https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ENIAC http://www.turing.org.uk/scrapbook/computer.html https://en.wikipedia.org https://www.google.com/webhp?source -
