Netflix
Netflix was established but in 1999 is when they started its suscription business. The impact that it had on my life is that it made it easier to watch movies. It made it less a hasle so i wouldn't have to run out to the store and spend money on expensive DVD rentals. Now Netflix also offers tv shows and all genres of movies on their online accounts which is great.
