Technology over the Years

  • Educational TV

    Educational TV
Ever since I was a kid I would watch shows that would interact with me and I could learn simple cognitive skills.
  • ELMO/ Light Projector

    ELMO/ Light Projector
When I started my first courses in elementary school the ELMO was used to project to the class what the teacher was demonstrating on a piece of paper, and made it so the entire class could see it.
  • Interactive Whiteboard

    Interactive Whiteboard
The interactive Whiteboard allowed students to watch videos, assignments basically anything as a white board. It also allowed teachers to write on it as if it were an actual whiteboard. I got to use this throughout my primary years of schooling.
  • Scantron

    Scantron
I started to use this through the middle of my primary schooling years, almost every test I took was on a scantron.
  • Calculator

    Calculator
The basic calculator I started to use through the end of my primary education, especially when I was at home doing my math homework.
  • Computer

    Computer
Once again through the end of my primary education, my classes like English, would have an assignment where it would have to be typed, so I had to use a computer.
  • i Pad

    i Pad
Once I made it to middle school, the school had i Pads that we could do research on, rather then having to go to our library.
  • Chrome Books

    Chrome Books
In middle school, just like the i Pads each classroom had access to Chromebooks, we would take test, do projects and type essays on these devices. We were even allowed to take these back and fourth from home and school.
  • Graphing Calculator

    Graphing Calculator
Once I reached the end of my middle school years, Algebra 1 required a graphing calculator and I have been using this calculator ever since for math classes.
  • iClicker

    iClicker
The iClicker is something I have not used ever since last year. This was an easy way to test for understanding within the classroom by asking questions throughout a lecture.
