The whole production and planning of our film was produced primarly by using this source of technology. When starting our production we began by using the basic software of the mac; Microsoft word. We used this aswell as plain paper and colourful pens to plan our whole title sequence. -
Blogger
All of our ideas that we decided were important for our production were finalised and written up on blogger. Ready to be presented to our class for our pitch. Before starting Media i hadnt previously used blogger but i have been able to learn quickly how to add photos, videos, text and gifs to my blogs to make them more interwsting. These techniques all allowed me to present my ideas for our production in a more understandable way. -
Storyboardthat.com
This was personally my first time not ony using storyboardthat.com , but also hearing about it. The website was easy to use and it enabled me to bring my idea for the production to life. I felt that the idea in my head for our film was easily expressed through these images. The only downside was that there was a limit o the amount of boxes i was allowed to use for free, therefore i wasnt able to complete a full storyboard using it -
Prezi.com
Prezi was used as a way in which my group and i could present our ideas to our class during the pitch presentation. We were each able to log onto the website and add our own parts of the presentation. This was my first time using prezi, originally creating the mind map was hard but with the help of the rest of my team i was able to gather the basics of using the programme. -
flip camera
A flip camera was used only once during our planning and production and this was to record the feedback from the rest of our class in regards to our pitch presentation. I was the one who was recording and i personally found recording with a flip camera fairly simple -
camera
The camera has been the main part of our production as we used this to shoot all of our shots. Camera practice and skill was important in our production, this lead to us refiilmilng many shots allowing us to work on our camera angels and our basic camera skills for example, zooming and close up shots. We experimented with the ways in which we wanted to film switching from a tripod to a fig rig to make the shots as best as possible. -
Youtube
Youtube was used during our project as a way for us to upload and share our Rough cut of our film title sequences aswell as the feedback we had previously recorded from our pitch. -
Premiere pro
Premier pro was a piece of software that as a group we had previously used in our preliminary task during the creation of our remake of Seven, therefore we all had previous knowledge on the programme. Premiere pro allowed us to cut and add footage to make improvements.Through this i was also able to edit the music in which we decided to use, through cutting and addding tracks on top of each other. -
After effects
After effects was used as one of the final pieces of software used for our production as we used this to spply all of the titles onto our sequence. Choosing the size and the colour of our text was important in our production as this expressed the power within a femanine role. -

This website was used to find the sound affects for our production, including police sirens and clock timer. Our backing track for the title sequence was a combination of fast sounding soundtrack and a real life police report recording
