    The IMB's Roadrunner Computer was the first computer to reach 1 petaflop and it used two different microprocessor the IBM POWER XCell L8i and AMD Opteron. Also, a fun fact is that an offshoot of the POWER XCell8i chip was used as the main processor in the Sony PlayStation 3 game console.
