1994

The televisions that we had in the classroom was wheeled in the classroom on a cart and it was a box tv. We used VCR's when we watched movies.

Overheads

1995

Our teachers had to use clear pages and use dry erase markers to write all our notes which we copied off of.

Floppy discs

2000

We had to save our work on floppy discs.

Computer

2001

Our computers that were used were a lot heavier and bigger than what we use now in classroom.

Elmo

2003

This was an updated version of the overhead. Teachers could use regular paper and pens and students could see it on the board.

Flash Drive

2006

Flash drives replaced the floppy disc

Smartboards

2012

I learned what a smart board was a lot later than they actually came out. It was not until I went back to college the second time around after I changed my major where I even heard of a smart board. its basically a white board where you can write on but its computerized.
