Osborne 1 invented by the Osborne Computer Corporation, designed by Lee Felsenstein and Adam Osborne. Original price was $1795. Only computer of its time that would fit under an airline seat. CD-ROM
Although the compact disc (CD) was invented in 1974 by James Russell, it was largely unnoticed by the world. Denon created the CD-ROM in 1982 and introduced it with Sony at a computer show in 1984. Microsoft launched the very first software in 1987, Microsoft Bookshelf. Domain Name System (DNS)
The Domain Name System, or DNS, was created to make finding a IP address on the web much easier to find. It is a hierarchy system of domains and hostnames that link to IP addresses so we don’t have to remember a number. Google.com is much easier than its IP address: 74.125.239.35. Macintosh Computer
The Apple Macintosh computer was the first personal computer that offered a graphic user interface (GUI) driven user experience. Adobe Photoshop
Developed in 1987 by Thomas and John Knoll, who later sold the distribution license to Adobe Systems Incorporated in 1988. It was originally designed as an add-on to Adobe Illustrator, however, it was difficult for most computers to use because of the high memory usage, but helped to drive the creation of more powerful computers.
