Overhead Projector
The overhead projector was our first introduction to projected, large scale work viewing and editing. -
Computer Lab
Computer Lab was a time we earned each week to use the school computers to learn computer skills including Microsoft Word, create digital art and play educational games. -
TV & VCR Player
The TV/VCR cart was used for any educational viewing in elementary school. We would watch tapes in science about the diversity of life on Earth, or the movie to the novel we finished for ELA. -
Cassette Tape Player
This device took tapes much smaller than the VCR tapes, allowing us to learn with our ears. Examples of uses for this device included listening to an audio book and following along, or breaking down the words of a French song in French class. -
Graphing Calculators
We used graphing calculators in statistics class to help us learn how to calculate probability and visualize charted numbers on various graphs. -
Smartboards
The smartboard was exactly how the name sounds: A smart interactive whiteboard for students to use to solve problems or draw mockups of a figure or visual graph.
