Cursed Witches of Dyer Lane
Until 1934, a cult of about 6 witches would gather in Dyer Lane to practice their craft. They were once followed by a group of boys, 2 of the witches were snatched away and raped, 2 others ran off screaming as the 2 who were raped cried and reportedly yelled out a curse, this lead to both witches being killed. The final curse would take effect, the cursed boys dying due to unnatural causes. 1 was hit by a truck, another mugged and stabbed to death in LA and the last 1 died in a skiing incident. -
Dyer Lane Ghost Farmer
The ghost is known as John Wilkins reportedly appears on his tractor out in the field. After a while, he seems to just fade away, the story goes that he came across the ghostly apparations of the witches. They apparently were seductive and flirtatious with John, as he gazed upon them his tractor started moving and ran him over, killing him. To this day, he continues to haunt the fields of Dyer Lane. -
Ghostly Police Car
Legend states that late at night you might encounter a police cruiser behind you, red lights and a shadowy policeman in the car, once you stop your vehicle, the police car just disappears. The story goes that during a police chase, the passenger of the vehicle shot and killed the officer. To this day the chase is apparently recreated to the point where the officer sometimes treats you as the vehicle from 1954. Other rumors state that he was chasing KKK members. -
The Satanic Order of Amdusias
A satanic cult that would worship the demon Amdusias, after several failed attempts they decided to take it to the next level by committing the human sacrifice of a cult member's sister named Lin, reportedly the sacrifice was a success, trees bending towards the circle and the demon summoned. Mysterious deaths occurred after, one member found in a park bench with a slit throat. To this day the chantings are heard and if you get too close you'll be severely scratched. -
Dyer Lane Hitchhiker
Ed Beacon, a hippie hitchhiker from Oregon decided to camp out nearby Dyer Lane. People nearby Dyer Lane would hear him screaming and when approaching him he'd yell at them that he hears the chantings. No one heard the chantings and after the convulsion episode, he just died there. People now question whether he encountered the cult. Since then, there have been reports of a mysterious hitchhiker, once you agree to give him a ride he just disappears by the door or the passenger seat. -
Roommate Convicted in 2017 killing of Foothill Farms Woman
Teris vinson was convicted of first-degree murder on tuesday in the 2017 killing of a 28-year-old Janet meja. Her body was wrapped in inflatable mattress found in the roads between watt ave and dyer lane.
