The iPod revolutionized our media intake. I love music and this is a great addition to the world. I never bought an iPod or an Apple product but kudos to them for making a product people feel the need to buy. Steve Jobs deserves recognition for this one, he could have bought a different color shirt. -
Tesla
Tesla Electric Car Company was invented. Cool idea. Then Elon Musk bought into it and he sucks. The technology used in the cars and the idea of electric vehicles is great for our environment. Hopefully more electric car companies are competitive soon. -

YouTube is an ubiquitous part of the internet. I would say it revolutionized video sharing. I can find almost any topic and learn about it on YouTube. I can be entertained. I can be made sad from a documentary. I can upload myself jumping off a building into a pile of burning leaves and go viral. YouTube really is an endless black hole. -
Amazon Overlords
In 2006 Amazon started its more robust eCommerce operations. Individuals and businesses could sell items through their website. Amazon is a great idea in theory. Amazon seems to have no problem with making everything and everyone be subservient to their profits. I hate them. Let small businesses live. -
Netflix and...
Netflix offered its streaming service in 2007. That's impressive considering they were just a mail rental business and saw the future and decided to run with it. They started with minimal digital movies and now are a crazy empire. They said they might stop password sharing. Maybe it's time for another company to take their throne.
