Syria protests agianst Bashar al-Assad
The people of Syria are protesting agianst Bashar al-Assad. The result of these protestes lead to violence and deaths. I chose this because this is the start of the people going agianst the government and the start of everything that is going on in Syria. -

Saudi Arabia involvment
Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah wants a stop to this bloodshed. He says it will ruin thier oil industry. He also says the bloodshed is the worse with thousands of people dieing. King Abdullah is trying to end the bloodshed. This article is important because it talks about how Saudi Arabia is getting involved and also it shows all the differant countries trying to help but nothing is stopping Basshar. -
Turkey steps up
Turkey steps up and starts getting involved in the bloodshed. Turkey is trying to convince Assad to step down and to end the killings. Over 1,700 people have been killed since March. And the number is just going to get bigger. I chose this article because it really shows how and why Assad is killing the people. He is killing the people who are agianst him. Turkey on the other hand is trying to stop Assad with about 5 other countries. -
Obama Takes charge
Obama is now realizing nothing is getting done. Syrians are just going to keep killing protesters. Obama states that children and woman are being torture, detained and murdered by the Syrian. Many have been killed already. He wants the UN council to stand with the syrian people and to stop this terrible event.
This article is finally saying something is going to be done. In all the other article they are just trying to stop the bloodshed from happening but Obama's words make you believe. -
Syrian's taking over hospitals
Syrian's are now taking over hospitals and torturing the nurses and doctors. Patients that are at the hospital aren't being treated and can't have any medics or medcine. Syrian's are doing the extreme to these people. I chose this article because it shows the horrible things they are doing to people and maybe it will make people realize something needs to be done. -

We all know Assad should quit, but the question is how? King Abdullah thinks he will consider to step down if he has an intrest in his country. Abdullah ws the first to tell Assad to his face to quit which leaves Abdullah at risk. I picked this article because Abdullah wa the first to tell Assad to quit and nobody else has. This really shows Abdullah wants Assad gone and will do anything for that to happen. -
Turkey stops the violence
Turkey has taken away weapons, and the miliatary equipment until a new government is in place. Now there we will be less vilonce but will it stop? I picked this article because Turkey finally did something instead of saying they are they actually did.
