Freedmen's Bureau
The freedmen's Bureau was created for the african americans. The Bureau supervised all relief and educational activities relating to refugees and freedmen, including issuing rations, clothing and medicine. The Bureau was disbanded under President Ulysses S. Grant. -

The civil war was a bloody war between the north and the south. The brutal battle was started over slavery, popular soviernty, and the election of Abraham Lincoln. Over 600,000 americans were killed. the battle of Gettysburgwas a turning point in the civil war. The Civil War effectively ended at Appomattox Court House in Virginia. -

John Wilks Booth was the man that assassinated Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln was killed in Forgs theater. John Wilks Booth thoght he was a hero for killing Lincoln for the south.
