Expelled from University of Colorado Boulder

1969

Wozniak was expelled from the University of Colorado Boulder in his first year for hacking their computer systems resulting in him moving back to San Francisco Bay ("Steve Wozniak").

Built his first computer

1971

While at the University of California, Berkely, Wozniak made his first computer with his friend Bill Fernandez ("Steve Wozniak").

Met Steve Jobs

Wozniak met Steve jobs through Fernandez while he worked the Summer at HP ("Steve Wozniak").

Blue Box

1971

Wozniak and Jobs have their first business partnership selling Wozniak's "Blue Boxes" allowed someone to make long-distance calls for free ("Steve Wozniak").

Began designing the Apple I

1975

Wozniak began working on the Apple one while apart of the Homebrew Computer Club ("Steve Wozniak").

Apple Co is founded

Wozniak finishes the Apple one and him and Steve Jobs start Apple Co to sell it after HP rejected it ("Steve Wozniak").

First sale of Apple I

Wozniak and Jobs made a deal to sell 50 units to a Homebrew Computer Club member who was starting a computer shop ("Steve Wozniak").

Begins designing Apple II

In 1976, Wozniak would start designing the Apple II computer which would go on to become even more successful than its predecessor ("Steve Wozniak").

Plane Crash

Wozniak got into a place crash giving him temporarily amnesia and forcing him to take a break from Apple ("Steve Wozniak").

Went back to apple

1983

Wozniak went back to apple after a failed venture in a music/technology business. He would eventually end up leaving again as his interests lied more in the engineering side than the business side ("Steve Wozniak").

CL 9

1985

After leaving Apple, Wozniak founded CL 9 which went on to create the first universal remote control ("Steve Wozniak").

Today

2001

In 2001, Wozniak founded another company - Wheels of Zeus. Since then, he has gone on to found/lead multiple other companies each focused on developing new technology. Wozniak continues to be a influential figure in the world of computers and technology ("Steve Wozniak").
